Synopsis
This documentary follows Vincent Lecompte, a 20-year-old with a limited understanding of AI technology. In an effort to bring about public transparency, Vincent investigates AI’s influence in society, exploring its impacts on cybersecurity, regulation, media, and the workforce. While expert interviews and individual accounts highlight the urgency of addressing ethical and political challenges, the documentary also sheds light on AI's potential benefits—such as advancements in healthcare, education, and innovation.
Join us on a journey of discovery as we explore the evolving world of AI and contemplate what the future of this technology means for the human race.

About
My name is Vincent Lecompte
I’m the Director and lead investigator for Super Intelligent. My journey with this project began in the winter of 2023, as the rise of AI captured global attention. Driven by curiosity, I set out to explore the profound impact AI has on our world and what it means for the future of young people.

Our partnerships with leading NGOs and non-profits like AIGS Canada and Responsible AI bring critical expertise to the table, ensuring we deliver accurate, insightful, and compelling stories about AI's impact on society. These organizations offer us access to a wealth of resources—from real-life stories of those affected by AI to research materials and interviews with top experts in the field.

AIGS Canada, launched in August 2022, is a Canadian community dedicated to managing the risks and opportunities of advanced AI.
They advocate for AI governance and sensible regulation to position Canada as a global leader in AI safety.
A community of AI professionals, enthusiasts, or rookies dedicated to exploring AI safety through meetups, discussions, and workshops. In accordance with AIGS Canada thy provide access to AI safety experts for interviews and panels, along with opportunities for event footage and documentary promotion within their community.

Founded in 2024, the Human Feedback Foundation is dedicated to improving the alignment of advanced artificial intelligence systems with human values. They provide research insights on AI alignment, expert participation in interviews or panel discussions as well as prototype demos for new AI technology.

Little Robot Friends is a Toronto-based educational technology company inspiring kids to explore the world of coding, electronics, and artificial intelligence. Their interactive robot kits and engaging workshops teach critical STEM skills while fostering creativity and innovation in young minds.
